Christmas in the Boruff/Swindle (and now Davis) Family has been the same for the last 20+ years. This year we did something a little different that was so fun!
I had to work on Christmas Eve, so Taylor, Dad and Dane went golfing for the boys day out. After I got off work, I rushed home to make my pasta salad (the thing I was assigned to bring to Christmas Eve Dinner). I didnt think we would make it to the new family tradition, but I am so glad we did. We went to the Christmas Eve service at our Church (Hahira UMC). It was a blessing.
After that, we went to Nana and Papas house for our annual dinner and gift unwrapping party. Here are some pictures from the night:

Every year Nana and Papa give us ornaments. This year Darby got a guitar. I got a married couple for me and Tay...but didnt get a picture of it.
Nana always wears this santa hat and passes out the presents. She got a drum...which she calls the "jimbo" so that she can play with Darby and Dane when we are having jam sessions.
After all of the presents are complete, we always get into a pile of the giftwrap and take a picture. This is a tradition that was started when we were children and we loved to play in the gift wrap. Now it is more of a thing that we do because we have to, but we secretly still love it! Heres a picture:
Later that night, Taylor and I spent the night at mom and dads for our "first married Christmas" and dad insisted that Tay would still have to sleep on the couch! haha! We woke up the next day and opened gifts and had alot of fun with the family the whole day. After the store being so crazy busy for the past month, it was a great and MUCH needed relaxing few days!
Here are a few pictures actually from Christmas day!

This is a sign mom got dad for the Lake House. We call it "Seminole Bay" so thats why the sign says that. We LOVE it and its now over our couch at the lake :)
